About Us

Urban Shepherds provides metropolitan areas with the opportunity to repurpose and manage unproductive land through urban grazing to leverage the environmental, economic, and social benefits associated with grazing small ruminants.

To date we have been providing fee consultation to would be urban shepherds across the United States and Canada. We do have a fee for training and charge for travel. While we sure demonstration projects for outreach and education, we are not providing landscape maintenance services but are teaching people how to use sheep for their own maintenance, saving money on mowing, making money finishing lambs, producing something more productive than grass clippings, reducing environmental impacts, creating a sense of place, and having fun.
